Using Omaha Playhouse's black box theatre, John
Gibilisco and Frank Scarlatta from Strand provided me with
a Strand 550i, a 300 Series console, a SN100 node for remote
video, a digitizing tablet, a LCD projector and connectivity
to the house light plot which included scroller units.
The first half of the lecture on tools concentrated
on knowledge of the consoles and programming providing an
overview for students and professionals in the Omaha area.
The second half focused on students with a concentration on
tools for the lighting designer today.
